The LWV is partnering with the Five County Tobacco Free Coalition to bring the public this event. This session will provide the voters of the 41st Assembly District information on each of the candidates allowing voters to make informed decisions.
Each candidate will be given two minutes for opening remarks then written questions will be taken from the audience. The questions will be screened and asked through a moderator. Each candidate will have up to two minutes to answer each question. Candidates will be given one minute for closing remarks. Upon arrival, candidates will draw numbers to determine the order of appearance.
The League of Women Voters, a non-partisan political organization, encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. The League was founded in 1920 by Carrie Chapman Catt who was born in Ripon, Wisconsin.
